My Original Research

 For my original research I will be tracking the how the amount of sound insects make(in decibels) changes over the course of a season.

Please note that there was lots of wind and highway interference today, I may end up not using todays data if it doesn't match the trend of the rest of the data because I am not sure the data I took today is reliable.

Again, please note that there was lots of highway interference today, I may end up not using todays data if it doesn't match the trend of the rest of the data because I am not sure the data I took today is reliable. I will try to go at a time when the there will be very limited highway interference and see if the results are the same.

Third visit-October 8

  Both of these pictures show the shallow water area in my plot of land. looking at these pictures I think that the water has more algae in it than it did during my last visit(which was 3 weeks ago).  This photo is showing my whole plot of land. I have take a photo from this spot every time I have gone.  I have taken a picture of this bush every time I have gone in order to track change. This is the most recent one. It looks about the same.  Many of the flowers that were in. my plot of land have died, but there are still a few white flowers here and there, and a few yellow. Most of the flowers and most of the grasses have started to turn brown as you can see in the picture below. The first picture is a very zoomed in version of the first. I saw two dear run into the woods. I wasn't able to get a good picture because I was facing the other direction when I heard them and didn't turn around in time. 5th visit - November 12

  These two pictures show the my entire plot of land. I have taken a picture from this spot each time. The Following 4 pictures show the marshy water area:                          This picture makes me think that the water level is higher today than it used to be. This next photo is showing how it started snowing while I was out there. The next photo shows how the all the grasses and weeds.  This is the only flower I was able to find that hadn't died yet.  The following 4 pictures and videos show the birds, mostly ducks, that I saw while I was there: Here is a sound map, it is very different than the one I did on my first visit. Finally, here is a sketch I did while I was at my plot of land. I am unsure what kind of plant this is. However I think it may be the same plant as the purple flowery plant that I saw the first time.
