Second visit - September 18

 

These 3 picture are all picture I took on my second visit to my plot of land. All 3 are showing different angles of the shallow watery area. 





This is one of the birds I saw today. I am not sure what kind of bird it is but it was pretty good sized. I also saw a group of 4 tiny birds today, but I was not able to get a picture of them. 
This is a picture of the purple flower I saw last time. This time it is obviously not purple and the flowers on it have died.
This is a photo that I have taken from the same spot each time I have gone. We can tell that there are a lot less bright colors than last time and more yellows and browns. 
This shows how there are more browns than there used to be. Last time all these flowers were yellow or purple and now they are all brown. 
This is a picture of the same bush that I saw last time. I took this picture to track any changes and growth I see. The shape has changed just a bit and it almost looks like it has gotten wider. 




















My second visit was September 18 at 11:15 am. The time of  day for September 18 was 12 hours and 22 minutes(7:27-7:49). It was cloudy and about 71°. There was a 17 mph wind going coming from the southwest. While I was there I heard tons of insects and a few of birds. I saw a large bird flying around but I am not sure what kind of bird it was. I saw a group of 4 smaller birds flying around as well. I also saw a couple white butterflies.

    Great comparisons! Good work overall! Start watching for patterns in the leaf color change and the leaf fall.

  Both of these pictures show the shallow water area in my plot of land. looking at these pictures I think that the water has more algae in it than it did during my last visit(which was 3 weeks ago).  This photo is showing my whole plot of land. I have take a photo from this spot every time I have gone.  I have taken a picture of this bush every time I have gone in order to track change. This is the most recent one. It looks about the same.  Many of the flowers that were in. my plot of land have died, but there are still a few white flowers here and there, and a few yellow. Most of the flowers and most of the grasses have started to turn brown as you can see in the picture below. The first picture is a very zoomed in version of the first. I saw two dear run into the woods. I wasn't able to get a good picture because I was facing the other direction when I heard them and didn't turn around in time. 5th visit - November 12

  These two pictures show the my entire plot of land. I have taken a picture from this spot each time. The Following 4 pictures show the marshy water area:                          This picture makes me think that the water level is higher today than it used to be. This next photo is showing how it started snowing while I was out there. The next photo shows how the all the grasses and weeds.  This is the only flower I was able to find that hadn't died yet.  The following 4 pictures and videos show the birds, mostly ducks, that I saw while I was there: Here is a sound map, it is very different than the one I did on my first visit. Finally, here is a sketch I did while I was at my plot of land. I am unsure what kind of plant this is. However I think it may be the same plant as the purple flowery plant that I saw the first time.
